When we are
talking about trading products many things came into our mind like this company
is a trading company it means off course they are buying from other
manufacturing companies. The price matters a lot when we talk about trading
companies because trading companies cannot provide the competitive prices
because they are not direct manufacturer’s they have to consider their profits
as well.
Manufacturing products are easy to sell as compared to trading products because in
manufacturing products you are in a position of negotiation up to good extent
and you can easily offer the competitive prices to buyers. I’m working as an
Overseas Manager for hot dipped galvanized steel industry. We do manufacturing
and also trading. First of all I did not know about our trading products due to
which I was facing a lot of problems because every buyer was saying your price
is high offer us competitive prices. After experiencing this problem I made
research about the product in which I was facing many problems and after doing
my research I came to know that those were the trading products that is why
our price was high.
From above
situation I came to know it’s better to know your products in detail before
starting your sell in order to know your strengths and weaknesses.
