Corrosion (Rust) - A Chronic Disease

Corrosion is a one of the chronic gradually attacks and inlay destroys metals life. Like any other chronic disease the old adage applies; announce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. A process known as oxidation is the major cause of Corrosion. In oxidation process oxygen combines with moisture and oxide to form Corrosion (Rust). Corrosion can be protected through a process know as  Hot Dip Galvanizing process.

Disadvantages of Corrosion:

Hot Dip Galvanized Steel
Corrosion
  • When Iron oxide gets mixed it leads to the gradual weakening of the metal bonds that leads to gradual destruction of metals life.
  • Corrosion is the main cause that leads to shortening of the metals life.
  • It is the one of the factor that leads to enhancement of maintenance cost of metals.
  • It leads to the gradual loss of metal bonds integrity and metal surfaces.
  • It is one of the leading factors in destroying the value of metal objects.

Prevention is better than cure
Hot Dip Galvanized Steel
Hot Dip Galvanizing Process
A process known as Hot Dip Galvanizing is one of the most effective technique of avoiding Corrosion (Rust). In this process in which a protective layer of zinc is coated on the metals which Is the anti corrosion (rust) element eventually it provides long term strengthening of metal bonds. It leads to enhancement of metals life. Now a day’s hot dipped galvanized steel pipe manufacturers are using galvanized steel throughout the world in the area of building construction, transportation, agriculture sector and electric power etc.
